I'm literally just chilling.
Doesn't feel as purim-y as other years.
I'm not complaining. Just wondering if anyone else can relate.

Yup. Loving that I am chilling, cooking for meal and nursing newborn. Dh has been out all day with older kids though.
Later, by meal it will feel like Purim I think

I am doing rounds, but it's been weirdly traffic free for Lakewood. I'm doing a very stress free, slow paced Purim.

You mean that the kids are bickering nonstop like a regular day?
Yes absolutely. Actually it's worse cuz they are all hyped up on sugar.
Oh well, it's fun anyway.

Well now that you asked, I feel so detached and feeling very different all day.. I told my husband to take the kids and enjoy.. I don’t want to ruin it for them.. BhBh my husband was very good about it.. I just can’t stop thinking about our hostages, and our soldiers whom are fighting for us.. I
davened and said Tehillim but still feeling this way.. please don’t say go to therapy after Purim, I have a lot going on right now and it’s not something for going to therapy for..

I think it’s the extra hour that we have before the seudah; because of the time change.
