I have the Stokke Flexi with the newborn insert and it puts the baby in a chin to chest position. Is that ok when a baby is awake? I know it's dangerous for sleep.

It's safe if you're watching. I assume you're not taking your eyes off him for a minute if he's in the bathtub. You definitely should be watching him carefully enough to notice he would stop to breathe.

For sure watching him, right there with my hand on him the whole time. But is chin-to-chest an "always dangerous" position? Or just when sleeping?
