…. How does it work in your favour?
Like are you cooking the whole time instead of cleaning ? But cleaning needs to get done

Also, what do u keep upstairs/downstairs…
Are you running up & down stairs whole time ?
Where do ya keep pots, dishes etc when turning over regular kitchen?

Every year I think I’ll get it right but still I end ip having to go up & down to get ______
B/c it’s in downstairs pesach kitchen.

How can I simplify my life ?

I only cook in Pesach kitchen, never turn over regular kitchen

Everything I need is in Pesach kitchen or in box nearby, big freezer near my Pesach kitchen too

I don't have a Pesach kitchen yet but:
No need for kashering or heavy cleaning in the regular kitchen.
A Pesach kitchen should ideally have it's own storage with cupboards etc.
A friend of mine had a PK which she used the whole chag
The regular kitchen was just covered off and sold. So no switching anything.

Ya, but mine is downstairs
Just a walk thru
Not a proper kitchen.

No way we can use it for pesach & not use regular one.
We’ve been cleaning upstairs one- fridge, stove, counters etc.

I have a Pesach kitchen. Small, but very efficient with lots of storage.
I don't kasher my regular kitchen at all. I operate the entire Pesach just out of my Pesach kitchen. Obviously the advantages of this are: I can start cooking for Pesach at any time, I don't ruin my regular kitchen with boiling water and blow torches, etc., and it saves time skipping the whole kashering process.
I live in a 1 story house so no up and down stairs involved, B"H.

I have a kitchen in my basement and have all the same issues. I’ve learned to only do specific things down there that use similar ingredients . Like all baking and all meats . Or all potato kugels . And save the rest for the main kitchen when I turn over .. which I do anyways because we need a regular first floor kitchen during pesach !

I have a tiny amazing pesach kitchen in my basement . I have everything I need there . I cook and fill up my freezer and clean the week before pesach . With a house full of toddlers and little kids , there is no way in the world I can clean now and expect it stay clean for the next month .
If I didn’t have a pesach kitchen I wouldn’t make pesach
Day before pesach I make the salads and fish and stuff for the kayara and everything else is in my freezer

How far in advance are you cooking? That’s what I’m thinking would be the way I would do it (just putting in the PK this year so haven’t done it yet).

Do you (or anyone else with a PK) have a garbage disposal in the sink? If so, which one? Thanks.
