BTW, even if you don't have a Pesach kitchen, it's not such a big deal to tell the live-in to hire a few friends and do the kitchen for you. I don't get what everyone kvetches about. |
If you don't have a Pesach kitchen, you can hire the kashering crew to kasher the kitchen in your summer home, and just go there for Pesach. You'll be the neb who isn't going to some faraway Pesach hotel, but some years are just tight, y'know?

About Pesach toys, I buy a new toy or game each year so the cost is spread out. It's my kids' treat for helping (and "helping" lol) By now we've accumulated a decent stash, but I started doing this the years we were still going away for part of YT, so the new toy kept them busy enough for just a few days.
