My daughter has an imperforate hymen. She has not started her period yet (she’s 12) . The endocrinologist suspects this but it needs to be confirmed with a gynecologist. Has anyone’s daughter had this? Did a pediatric gyn diagnose and perform the surgery? Do you bleed after the surgery even if a period has not started yet? Any advice or what to expect would be so helpful!
