Put on my first pair of stockings for the season yesterday. I got the melas tht I always get. Same color and size
Same denier
And for some reason I feel like they changed them
I’m 5’5”
And always wore size small
And suddenly the small is barely going up all the way
I put on maybe 4 lbs since last summer - but I don’t think Thts what’s doing it
When I took it out of the package
Right away I noticed that the leg part is shorter than usual
Anyone see this?

Sales rep told me that the 6 pack runs short and advised me to get singles. Did you buy the 6 pack?

Not going to be helpful because I know nothing about melas, just wanted to say that I wear palm and went up a size because of the same reason. I now wear xl and I too am 5 5 and no I did not gain.
At this point I just buy maternity so there’s extra room tear round

Yes!!!
They rip so easily and are just not good even with sizing up
I’m so sad because the memoi pink pack is not as comfy as the melas

Oh no! Just when I finally find a brand that's ok, they change their cut? The same thing happened with the Florence tights. They were great. And then they changed the sizing and no matter what I got it just didn't fit right. I don't find memoi comfortable at all. I used to like filazi but I think they changed sizing too. What is up with these companies??!!

I've been uncomfortable in tights for years now because of the sizing changes it's horrible. I have to size up. Usually I get the largest size they come in... But then they bunch up at my ankles giving me "elefant feet"
Can't figure this out but hopefully when I lose weight things will be easier

Yes, store sales rep told me that only the stockings in the 6 pack was changed, but not the individual packs

Yes, I noticed the difference in the fit already last summer.

I'm not a regular tights-wearer, but I know that manufacturers of *everything* (not just tights) have cut corners due to all the supply chain challenges, labor shortages, and inflation over the past few years.
Although it's kind of stupid to do it with clothing because unlike with food (where the manufacturer just puts 1 less cookie per package, for example, or shrinks the cookie size by 5%), clothing that is suddenly smaller has no use to the consumer.

have you ever tried esatto? I love esatto.
editing to add tht hosiery plus doesn’t carry that brand. so if you’d like to try it you need to go to a diff hosiery store. someone mentioned hosiery plus before but they don’t have tht brand and I’ve rly had excellent experience with it.

My melas60 denier tights looked an inch shorter at the toe, not crotch, but then they fit the same as my old ones.
