Lol high 50s isn’t a hard call! 50s isn’t AC weather in my book! We don’t turn on AC till it’s 80. If you’re hot open some windows

My apt gets very stuffy. We only have 1 small living room window which doesn't give a breeze unless there is one. And when my kids see the window open they want to climb on the couch next to it.

Is it central air or a window unit? I’m setting my central pretty high so if it gets hot indoors it will turn on.

Does it have a timer? It’s going to be cold at night. If you can plug in a timer so it turns on tomorrow afternoon that’s probably best.

You need to know your own apt. Some places need ac way before others. Are you on a top floor? Attic? Those heat up really fast.

So then that's the problem! Which doesn't apply to most people- most landlords I've had turn it off the first day the temp hits 60 and don't turn it on again till next year

Op I hope you didn’t have your AC on in the end. My kids wore coats, it was freezing! Though you’ll probably need it for tomorrow and Monday, that’s NY weather for you Wink
