The weather is beautiful!
I'm looking for supper ideas that aren't fish sticks or frozen pizza I can serve in the park, (eta: but I want it to be nutritious.)

I would ideally cook it at 1-2 pm, or if it can be left unattended I would put it in at 3.

So that it could be ready and still fresh at 5

Sandwiches. Little chumus cups with pita or pretzels to dip. Yogurt and veggies. Chip bag tacos ( throw taco toppings into a bag of tortilla chips and eat with a fork). Pasta and cottage cheese.

My kids love when we do this!

Not sure what your kid's ages are, but here is some ideas:

Chicken nuggets or schnitzel
French fries or onion rings
Pizza bubble/cheese pretzel
Sliced cheese/leben/yogurts/string cheese
Rice cake with any toppings
Carrots/cut pepper
Celery with peanut butter
Hard boiled eggs
Apples/sliced mango sticks/pears/oranges

We always do chicken salads. I fill individual containers with veggies and chicken. Bring along a container of salad dressing.

You can basically eat any dinner in the park. I put everything in containers.
Chicken & rice with veggies, chicken & pasta, breaded cutlets, ziti pasta, chicken with roasted potatoes.
