I read that washing laundry with vinegar will keep it from fading. To all those experienced amothers, how much vinegar in each load? Does the vinegar go together with the regular soap or in the rinse cycle?

I don't know about not fading, but I add a few splashes of vinegar to the regular wash to disinfect. If it's a load like towels (which are thrown on the dirty bathroom floor and stuff) then I do one cycle with only vinegar, one with detergent, and one more with vinegar.

I put in salt but I know a lot that put in vinegar. You just pour in a little in the beginning when you put in the detergent.

I was taught to put in some vinegar at the same time as the soap to avoid colors bleeding.
