There I said it Can't Believe It
I do buy fancy things and I do not spend a lot on each thing but I am literally always buying things. Lots and lots of little things that I hope will improve my life. Mostly things for my kids or my house.
I don't even know what normal spending is, but I must reign this in.
Can you help me??

Work on a budget

I spend 25-45 depending week towards extras

Aside from my weekly grocery shopping
With online shopping- I add to cart and look at the total then remove it’s my version of window shopping then choose within budget and quality

It might be helpful for you to think what is this behavior doing for you? For me it was an escape and a way of blocking out thoughts, emotions etc from my reality. I couldn't deal with life so I escaped into shopping and busy with silly things. It took work to come to the other side...

I don't know if this resonates with you...

I think that buying these things will improve my life somehow. Many times they do but that doesn't mean I need to buy them. I get a thrill out of finding a solution to things and often that involves buying something.
How do I know how much to budget for non essentials?
