I am considering training to do medical transcription, but I wanted to know if this is a "normal" job in Israel. Does anyone telecommute and do transcription from America? Would I be able to do any English transcription for American/Israeli Dr.s (I know, probably not)? Can you work the nightshift for American transcription services? Any information would be helpful.

Aidelmom can you PM me too. I live in Israel and would like to learn about how this could be possible here. Most people I know who trained for this were not too happy about the job...?
