I have brand new GE profile wall ovens (electric). Every time I use Shabbos mode, once I exit out the computer is messed up and won’t lock the screen. I press lock, but the controls still work.
So frustrated. Anyone have this and figured out a solution?

Not exactly sure what you’re experiencing, but on my GE profile which is also brand new, I discovered that after using sabbath mode, and exiting, I wasn’t able to get the clock screen back. It would only go back to the upper oven and lower oven screen without showing the clock and weather . It was so annoying. Then one day I used the steam clean function. And the screen went back to normal! So now I do steam clean every Saturday night. I guess my oven just likes to be clean lol

Yep, basically the clock screen doesn’t come on. What exactly is steam clean? Is it like a self clean?

What do you mean to hold down settings?
Is that how you exit Shabbos mode or after you exited the mode?

I press cancel and the oven turns off then I hold down the settings button and everything returns to normal....

Wow I’ll try that settings thing, but no it’s not self clean, steam clean is a different option it’s a half hour and doesn’t damage the oven. It looks like I have a different model though. Mine is a double wall oven

I have one single oven and then a double oven but not a wall. I do the same on both.

Ez-pass, is your oven gas or electric? Filter blocking your image, but I tried holding down settings and it didn’t work. I wonder if we have the same model.
Sygirl, I have the steam clean option. Was just wondering what it is. Maybe I should try it.

So for our model try the steam clean. Add a bit of water like it says. Let me know what happens!
