My child’s 3
History. Of
Allergies,
UTI’s
Movements where she pushes a lot in chair, car seat, on lap as if touching self, but often cries from pain or gets upset when I make her stop
Self regulating issues
Never slept through night
Now I’m noticing that her nights are so hard, where even in her sleep she screams or kicks or as if she’s having vivid dreams. She wakes up many time, or seems as if she wakes up because crying or getting upset: It’s not normal; she’s not at rest when she sleeps
She’s so cranky during day and unhappy many times.
Any suggestions?

Have you ever looked into histamine intolerance/MCAS? It can cause nearly every symptom you listed

Did you ever treat her for pinworms? Did you go to a urologist for all the uti? Sometimes it’s a kidney issue.

The part which you write about crying and kicking through the night resembles my 4 year old ds who also hasn't yet slept through the night but we know that he has had reflux. He can wake up at night and scream and kick his legs, this has been since he was a baby. He is under GI for it

Hi thank you everyone. Firstly, we have dealt with and treated reflux … I don’t believe it’s that , but u never know, can the poster who wrote abt histamine intolerance please tell me more info about that. Would an immunologist test for that bec we’ve been to allergist and a separate immunologist bec of all her issues and gi and ent and urologist and craniosacrial therapist and some other specialist….

No most regular immunologists are not familiar with mast cell disorders. If none of the specialists had answers for you, it's probably time to explore some holistic/alternative options. I love craniosacral therapy but first you need to know what's going on, it's not a cure all.

Some foundational pieces to look at: how's her diet? How's her gut? And her airway -- is she a mouth breather?

Picky eater, eats small amounts at a time , allergic so can’t eat everything , supplementing with formula . Urologist did X-ray and small amount of stool , not major back up.

If I were you, I'd clean up her diet. I don't know what her allergens are and what formula she's on, but I'd remove gluten, dairy, soy, corn, sugar and food dyes. Loads of nutrient dense whole foods. Swap out her formula for something healthier. Give her a good probiotic daily. Treat her for yeast and for parasites. Bioray kids is a great line for this kind of thing. Put some magnesium drops in her water in a sippy cup for her to sip throughout the day. This should make a big difference. If it doesn't, you can go from there.

What magnesium do I give and can it hurt?
Also what probiotic should I buy? I can’t get her to have rich foods as she won’t try anything new. She’s off of many foods . Where do I start to clean yeast and parasites

What’s interesting is that my doctor treated her for a yeast infection and she was always an anxious quiet kid especially around any adults and all of a sudden she was talking to my relatives and smiling, I was trying to figure out if the medication helped her

Yeast can definitely cause anxiety and behavioral issues. If she improved on yeast treatment I'd use that as a clue. She probably needs a much longer course as it tends to come right back if not treated aggressively.

I think diet is going to be a huge piece, it's hard to clean up a gut if you're not feeding it the right foods. Sometimes kids restrict themselves to the foods that are worst for them and you need to cut it out completely for them to try new things.

Magnesium - eidon magnesium drops
Yeast, parasites, prbiotics get tummy, happy, calm and pooper from bioray kids, possibly also sleepy.

It’s easier said than done to cut out completely the few things she eats to have her try new things

I don't have advice but I suspected that my daughter had a yeast infection, but the dr said it's impossible before reaching puberty. I'm confused. (She's 8 yrs old) How can I test for yeast infection?

That doesn’t make sense babies get yeast infection all the time. Mine is 2 my doctor looked in vaginally and he saw some white like little curds…. Maybe your doctor wasn’t comfortable checking down there. But if she’s itchy alot or has other symptoms foresure get her treated

So how do I treat for yeast more aggressively? Is it something I speak about with my doctor. Is there a vitamin to start giving her
