I've adjusted my menu to the more affordable products.
But yeah, even with that, I'm spending much more than I used to.

So did I - I’m buying the large size snacks instead of individual, less expensive snacks, more pasta and rice, less of everything pricey and no meat.. any more ideas

For most people, Webstaurantstore is not worth it because of the shipping. Adds about 30% to many orders.

It might be worth it to become a member.

$100 per month for free shipping... it might be worth it for a few families to join together and make bulk orders.

Can you tell us more about your adjusted menu? Struggling to revise ours.

Just focusing more on pareve foods, items I can make for much cheaper than buying, etc. I buy most things from Walmart which seems to have the best prices for almost everything.
Some of the items from our lunches and suppers from the past few weeks:
Spicy spaghetti
Scrambled eggs
Quinoa salad with chickpeas
Garlic bread with leftover (homemade) challah
Sloppy joes
Quiche
Mashed potatoes
Lentil soup
Baked ziti
Shakshuka over rice
Tuna pasta
Omelettes
Brown rice with onions
Pan pizza (store bought pizza dough and sauce)
Waffles
Tacos and beans
Hot dogs and baked beans
Homemade falafel balls
Leftover chicken soup and lukshen
Bean soup
Potato soup
Mixed vegetables
Sandwiches
Hard boiled eggs
Corn on the cob

Yes, good idea.
The gas it takes to go to the store to shop will cost the same as the shipping cost. And you save your time, and miles on the car.
"Free shipping" is of course folded into the price of the goods, somehow. It can't be really free.

Rice and beans, complete protein. Quinoa, complete protein.
Butcher's trimmings, you get calories and flavor for $5 a pound.
Pasta, noodles, $1.50 a pound.

It’s hard with the increase in prices. Nonetheless mashed potatoes are not dinner. A growing child needs protein and starch. And veggies.
I find that I spend less when I’m disciplined about only shopping once a week. I did not have good experience with Aldi.
I’ve done eggs in a pita and that was great
Lentil/butternut squash soup with some toast is delightful
