I have a very cheap couch from ikea. It looks nice and is so comfortable. It is much more comfortable than my more expensive couch.

I've had a cheap ikea couch for 20 years. I love it. I can't remember which model though.

I bought a beautiful gorgeous and very comfortable couch from Ashely furniture. It was $300 I saw it and I said I need it (we didn’t have a couch) it was originally $600.

BH my family is very happy with our "old thing" from FB marketplace. It's a high quality leather sectional in impeccable condition that we could never afford at retail price. It was very obvious from the seller's demeanor and their home that we did not need to worry about bed bugs, but in any case a quick check between the cushions let us know that it wasn't a concern. Certainly not everyone is interested in going this route but there's no need to disparage those who do.

They actually atopped making the one I have too 😭
How soon do you need the couch? Maybe they will roll out new products soon. I don't personally know of any place that hits that balance of cheap and decent quite like IKEA.

I think the one I have from ikea was maybe called karlstad. They don't make it anymore but we are very happy with it and I would have bought another. We have it for 10 years and it's going strong. It looks like they have something similar called parup for 6-700$ depending on the color.
I just can't spend that right now... We decided we will spend less and possibly have to replace sooner with the hope that in a few years we may have more $

I narrowed it down to two futons from walmart and a couch from Amazon based on price and the look I am going for- modern/ light...

The couch came about since I saw a loveseat from the same company with good reviews and saw they have a couch. The couch has less reviews but looks pretty similar to the loveseat. In the end I went with the couch. Thanks everyone for your help!

I've had great experiences with Ashley furniture and Bob's discount furniture. Both were $500 and under. I think Bob's is higher quality than Ashley and will hopefully last longer, but mine is still newish.
