my 5th grade daughter has to do a show & tell project on the melacha memachek-smoothing. She has to give something out to all her classmates, but it can't cost more than $.30 a piece. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

A cookie with frosting to smooth on? (not a problem to put on frosting on Shabbos, but can't smooth it for decoration)
Mini silly putty? (don't know if you can find for under 30 cents)
Piece of sandpaper (cut into quarters or less) and small piece of wood?

Maybe an iron? Perler beads?
Maybe a fuzzy coat, or blanket or rug or hook rug, to flatten hairs, yarns standing up
A flat iron for hair?

There are some great ideas here!
The only thing I can think to add is using soap to make lather
(or using the "candle glue" to hold a candle in place).
