How do you manage childcare for your little ones who end school around 3 pm!?

My toddler/baby go to a babysitter in the afternoons and I pick them up at 5:15 on my way home from work, and my older kids come home at 4 and let themselves in.
If for some reason I need to leave before 5, I work from home at night.

It’s terrible I cry almost every day that this is my life .
But I make good money and my salary is needed , we’re barely managing as it is .
It’s a nightmare

I work remotely and my husband/a friend do pick up and drop off. Kids are home with me from 3:45-5 while I work and it's brutal. I basically skip lunch so I can be as productive as possible while they are gone and then do the more chill tasks when they get home so I can multitask. Not easy but very grateful I can do this.

No, I pick them
Up (lunch break) every day and drop them off at the babysitter

Bh this can be done in my 30 minute lunch break since they’re in the same building and the babysitter and my office are relatively close to the sdhool. The process door to door is more like 40 minutes if everything goes quickly so I go 10 minutes over , and I stress and feel my blood pressure rising each day during those last 10 minutes, in my rush to get back t work.
It’s horrible. It’s not a way to live. I wish I didn’t need the income that my job brings, but we really do.

I have a babysitter pick them up and watch in my home. She is also there for my older kids when they come home.

I work slightly earlier hours (so I can leave a little earlier) and send to a school that has aftercare. BH my husband works from home so he can do morning drop-off and any sick pickups that come up.
