Freezing fresh corn

can I freeze fresh corn on the cob? how do I do it? do I leave it in the tusk? or do I take it out? tia

Absolutely!! I learned from my grandmother that the freezer actually sweetens it, so it taste even better. I don't even buy it with the tusk, so, yes I would remove it. I also cut them in half before freezing because my kids won't eat a whole one. I just put it in a freezer ziploc bag.
