yy, not indefinitely -- I don't think she'd be able to nurse from herself (though I remember thinking when I was 8 or so my mother was so lucky, she never had to be thirsty!) -- she'd have to hand express and drink it, meaning she wouldn't get the proper stimulation to increase milk supply to keep it going.
