Did you shake the lulav (with a bracha) as a single girl?

Do you shake it now?

(I did and do).

I never bought my own lulav and esrog.

So, when I was a single girl in my father's home --yes
and as married woman in my husband's home --yes

When I was a single girl on my own, I often missed some shakes because I didn't go out of my way to find a lulav and esrog everyday.

Yes, and yes. I usually do it before breakfast, otherwise if I ran out of time I race home to do it before shkia.

Always. Except one year when I stayed with my grandmother (my grandfather had passed away already)

first day only. we are both BTs and didn't grow up with a lulav minhag one way or the other.

So, first day only is our own minhag that we came up with. Very Happy

I do sometimes, but I confess it's only when my husband asks/reminds me.

I did when I was single and we were by someone who offered or if I was with a friend who was more gung ho about it. I don't think I've done so since I've been married not because I don't think women should, but because I don't have to and therefore I don't think of it. Maybe I'll ask dh what he thinks, who knows maybe I'll get a shake in before the end of YT.
