Are you looking for yourself or for kids?

There are many factories in one area where you can shop for yourself/children like Lollipop which goes under many names for women and children and other factory stores in that area where you can get great prices on the clothing. If you wait til after sukkos, they give this season's stuff away at buy one get one free. I just don't remember the address and I visit family there often, but don't live there, so I can't check it up. But just check it in any phonebook. (I think it's on St. Viateur) but not sure.

About shailos, what type of rav are you seeking? Lubavitch, heimish, chasidish, yeshivish? There are many...

I highly recommend Chezky's -just beware if you're watching your weight! Too good!

There are great shopping malls in Montreal but with the dollar at this time it doesn't really pay Mad since they add a 15% tax to your purchase. So even if our dollar is now the same as the Canadian dollar you pay that extra 15%.

However if you would like to go shopping anyway, there are the factories as mentioned above. There is a the Rockland shopping mall which has great stores and then there's a stunning mall Carrefour Lavale which is very big with great stores too. There's also Brat Pack and Petite Chic which are kids clothing stores in the area with nice stuff.

As for a dayan, depends where you belong but there are great ones there. We've dealt with a few already.

And Yes Chesky's Bakery is delicious. So keep away if you're dieting Wink .

If you need a number- you can always call the Vaad Ha'ir (they're on Decarrie) and ask them to direct you to someone. I don't have their number handy, but it's on www.mk.ca
