From the Silver Spoon kosher cookbook.
This is for a mini doughnut pan
Coffee Doughnuts
2 eggs
¾ C. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
¾ C. coffee whitener
1 T. vanilla sugar
1 T. margarine
2 C. flour
Coffee Glaze:
1 C. confectioners' sugar
1 T. hot water
½ tsp. coffee
Preheat oven to 350°.
Beat eggs and sugar and add the rest of ingredients. Grease a mini doughnut / bagel pan. Pour batter into forms, filling ¾ full. Bake for 12 minutes.
Coffee Glaze:
Dissolve coffee in hot water. Mix with sugar. Add more hot water if necessary. Dip baked doughnuts into glaze.

I don't think you can use a frying pan because it is a batter - as it says POUR
