I am looking to buy a book that will tell me week by week, or month by month, what my baby should be doing-like by week 3 baby should sleep for x amount of hours, should eat x times a day.......when the developmental milestones should happen, and symptoms of common childhood illnesses.
Can anyone recommend a good book for me?
I would also like one that will give me advice and information regarding vaccinations.

I second octopus's suggestion. one thing, op. they will tell you in the book that all children develop differently. this is so true. please remind yourself that if your child does not reach every milestone listed in the book s/he can still be normal. I have these books for reference only. if I read them every month to see where my child was I'd either swell with pride at my genius kids or start panicking. the best source of knowledge in monthly developments is really a good pediatrician.
