I love it. But I've only gone either on camp trips or school trips when the whole rink was rented out. It's totally scary to take a spill when there are strange onlookers gawking.

I have weak ankles, or at least that's the excuse I always gave myself and others about why I was such a bad skater, particularly ice skating. Roller skating, I'm a bit better at, but still not too great.

here the kids go motzei shabbos ... I once went with them ... ouch definitely not young and vibrant these days ... I thought my ankles were gonna break and was afraid to fall ...

I love it!
I once dragged dh onto the ice skating rink. He managed to get around the whole rink while holding on, but said never again! (Well, we'll see about that!)
But now that I'm a mother, I haven't really gone because I keep on thinking what if I take a nasty spill, I b"h have active kids that need me.
