I have the citi elite and was told the only idfference is they have a place for moms to put stuff and its a little plusher seats. there was also something about a foot rest I forgot though. to me it was worth the fifty bucks just for the mom part.
elite version slightly fancier and more expensive.
I bought the double city series summer '07 (no elite version at that point) and LOVE it. Great stroller. Just don't buy it with intention of taking in and out of car. Is heavy. But great for walking. Very, very highly recommend.
