Ditto. I also don't understand why cleaning the bookshelves is part of Pesach clenaing. I have never used my copy of America: The Book to store crackers. Nor have I used it as a dinner plate.

Maybe YOU haven't, but my 2 1/2 year old might very well HAVE. Twisted Evil

Good point.

Even then, I thought we had to remove edible chametz. Crumbs, I thought, don't count. And they get sold and nullified anyway.

Being that I was just home for a few legal holidays, I tidy up something on each of those days. Of course tidying isn't Pesach cleaning, but then again, neither is spring cleaning!

The house gets a good cleaning before Tishrei, too - it's easier to wash windows, etc., in the warn sunshine.

One holiday at a time. I wont start Pesach cleaning until AFTER Purim. And even then, I'll be mostly mentally preparing. I'm very good at procrastinating cleaning projects.

I actually started crying about pesach today. I have my in-law family on top of of everything else I do for pesach. And dd travels always manages to spread chametz around- it gets stuck in her onesie and diaper. You would be surprised the things she has managed to make chametz. And ds- well.... we won't even go there...

I start cleaning after Purim. This year I think we're moving IY"H in March so as long as we don't transport our mice with us (CH"V!!!) we should have it easy. which is good with multiple two-year olds!
