yeah, I saw that thread....and salivated. 
I'm looking for chocolate cookies that have chocolate chips in them. hence the chocolate, chocolate chip cookies.

With the Ultimate chocolate chip cookies, you can add 1/4 cup cocoa powder and you will have a really good chocolate chocolate chip cookie.

These are delicious!
Chewy Brownie Cookies
2/3 cup Crisco shortening
1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1 Tblsp water
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups (12 oz pkg) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375. Place sheets of foil on countertop for cooling cookies.
Combine crisco, brown sugar, water, and vanilla in mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until cookies are set. Do not overbake! Cookies will appear soft and moist. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to foil to cool completely.
Yields about 3 dozen cookies.
