1 chicken, quartered

1/4 cup soy sauce

6 tbspns sesame seeds
3 tbspns flour
1/2 tsp pepper

Combine last 3 ingredients. Dip chicken fully in soy sauce, dredge in sesame seed mixture. Bake about an hour on 350.

Enjoy!

RG... my family loved it. I made it for Shabbos and my husband couldn't get enough. The guests really enjoyed it too!

It is yummy I use to make it when I was first married (not long ago). I think its in the Kosher Pallette too. I made it with chicken cutlets and it also can out good too.

I love them too! When we have lots of people I like to serve lots of different things, but need them to be simple so I can get it all done. Smile

I realized a long time ago after posting, that this recipe is from the Kosher Palette, but I think they say to use chicken breasts.
I adapted it to chicken thighs, and it really comes out great. I actually just made it for shavous.
since this recipe is for chicken breasts, for thighs you have to multiply the ingredients 3 or 4 times- but not the soy sauce.
its so simple and easy- take off skin, dunk in soy sauce, coat with mixture.
I bake it uncovered, I dont remember how long though (even when I remember to look at the clock to see what time im putting it in, I forget later what time it was Rolling Eyes ), probably somewhere between 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hours. it turns brown, and its noticeable when its ready.
it really depends on your taste if you like it cold. I think its okay, but I like it better hot.

Thanks for the recipe, looks great!
I would like to try it with chicken breasts... what are the directions?
Do I use cutlet sized chicken, or nugget sized?
And do I have to dredge the chicken in the flour/sesame mixture, or can I just place the chicken in a ziplock bag, sprinkle with mixture, zip and shake?
One more question (sorry Rolling Eyes ) With chicken breasts, do I bake uncovered, or covered? For how long and at what temp? Thanks!

I also want to make with chicken breast. I don't understand - you should bake the chicken for 1 hour if it is boneless? That seems like a long time?
Thanks.

I made this recently for family Shabbos gathering. All of my DDs and DILs that were present have called to ask for the recipe!
