I'm all out of white, have not enough raw, can I use dark brown sugar or will I kill the recipe?

I am sure you can. It will give it a great taste I would think. Be sure to add vanilla extract, it may have a chocolate chip cookie dough taste (minus the chocolate.) Can't go wrong with that.

white sugar is sweeter so you might want to use a little more brown sugar than the recipe states, but otherwise all forms of sugar (as opposed to honey or syrup) are interchangeable. the diff is that brown sugar you pack solidly into the cup to measure while granulated white you just pour in, and brown sugar has an actual flavor as opposed to the pure flavorless sweetness of white sugar.
