Dror is not a good name for people with English speaking relatives.

LOL my mom always said she would NEVER have a Dror since she cannot pronounce it.
A word to the wise, if you plan on living in Israel do NOT give your daughter a female version of a male name - Drorit, Tziona, Yardena, etc. It is very uncommon and would tag your DD as an "American" for ever.
Tzion, is popular for a girl (I love it) - since Mount Zion is in feminine form.
All the tanachi names are less popular (think Avraham Yaakov etc) are less popular but still go very well (Israelis tend to not use nicknames and will use the given name in proper pronounciation). Also for girls, Sara, Rachel, Chana (a well-known rebetzin passed away recently so Channah is quite common among certain circles) Miriam, all go.
Moriya, Hodaya, Shira, Michal, Liat, Efrat etc are considered has-beens, they were way too popular 20-30 years ago.
But basically, anything goes, especially if the name is meaningful. People will get used to anything, and are usually impressed when a name is explained and has a deep meaning (or honors a loved one).
