Be honest about what you think of yourself. Lets see how positive the self-image is for women here.

I weigh nearly 300 pounds and am 5 foot 2. My self image is excellent. It's realistic, to be true, and, while I don't particularly think I am the most attractive woman on the planet, I do think I am one awesome chick.

In that case, I pity any girl who isn't you today.

(I was horrified to go to the "official" West Side Story site and discover that they changed that line.

Really bad one-liner: I could be a trophy wife. Does "Best In Show" count? Rolling Laughter Rolling Laughter

Seriously, I think everyone on the whole planet is good-looking. We were created by Hashem, who doesn't do second-rate. I have also found that when I walk into a room thinking I look good and that I'm a person worth knowing, people respond in kind. The only truly ugly people I know are that way because of their characters and middot.

I'm five out of ten in looks, how's that for honesty?
Good skin, decent hair but no one sees it anyhow, nice eyes, the teeth I have are halfway decent for my age. Good figure, not thin, not fat, and my batwings aren't that bad for a middle aged bobbeh...

God made me appealing to the eye and I'm grateful. I'm still insecure about my body but I do appreciate that I'm of the better looking population.

Not to mention the Flintstones. Although who knows, maybe Fred and Barney really were having a gay old time.

Being pretty makes the world nicer to you, it's definitely privilege. I don't let it define me, though. Without good middos, I'm nothing. Thumbs Up

Amazing book from an awesome guy:

Robert Hoge was born with a giant tumour on his forehead, severely distorted facial features and legs that were twisted and useless. His mother refused to look at her son, let alone bring him home. But home he went, to a life that, against the odds, was filled with joy, optimism and boyhood naughtiness.

Home for the Hoges was a bayside suburb of Brisbane. Robert’s parents, Mary and Vince, knew that his life would be difficult, but they were determined to give him a typical Australian childhood. So along with the regular, gruelling and often dangerous operations that made medical history and gradually improved Robert’s life, there were bad haircuts, visits to the local pool, school camps and dreams of summer sports.

Ugly is Robert’s account of his life, from the time of his birth to the arrival of his own daughter. It is a story of how the love and support of his family helped him to overcome incredible hardships. It is also the story of an extraordinary person living an ordinary life, which is perhaps his greatest achievement of all.
