Hmm would love to have my chicken soup leftovers tonight... |
I asked my rav earlier today and was told that chicken broth (without actual pieces of chicken in it) is okay for tonight

Again, AYLOR. I read that meat, wine, and music needs to wait--this was according to a Rav that I follow. Some may allow it. But that's not across the board.

Sorry! You mentioned specifically that there was no actual chicken inside? Because my husband first asked for me and said chicken soup and was told no. I then clarified to my rav that there is no chicken inside and he said yes.

Whoa. Don’t you all get sick next morning? I’ve heard a lot of times that right after the fast it’s best to have something light, cake and juice, then wait a while before eating more. Eating heavy/meat after a fast is really hard on the stoomach and not recommended

You're wrong. Even on nidcha, no meat or wine allowed, and best not to listen to music.
We are allowed to do laundry and all the other things.

Yes. Start with something light and if you tolerate that well, you can eat heavier things later on tonight.

Did the rav maybe think you are saying you made chicken soup without chicken?
