Maybe it's technically colder on the east coast usa but manchester can feel colder/worse because it gets into your bones.
I would pack winter stuff only if you're going in the next month or so
Anyways have fun !

I get that! Will pack for winter. Guess the kids won’t match every day🤷🏽‍♀️.

I don’t know what temperatures everyone else is used to, but my child and I went out to a park today and were bundled up with coats, hats, scarves and gloves and were still cold!
Our noses and cheeks were red with cold. I wouldn’t think of wearing anything spring like for at least another month.
Plus it rains here even when not forecasted and always best to have a hood.

So interesting! You were mid 40s today. That’s balmy over here.
Where I live cold means that it’s too cold to rain. Sometimes too cold to snow!

Even in London you need winter coats /clothes etc at the moment. Kal vechomer Manchester!

No one in Manchester is gona notice or care if your kids match or not.

Listen to what you are being told: its cold, wet and rainy.

(I also thought a shoutout was a compliment type of thing!)

Yeah I got that I’m packing winter clothes and winter coats. London is sometimes cold sometimes not depending on the day. Never as freezing as it gets in NY though.
The shoutout was to get your attention I didn’t really think it through lol.

So, you guys definitely don’t know “real” cold😂 our cab driver thought we were nuts when we asked him to turn on the AC. He refused. But no kidding about the rain!

Is it depressing to live in a cloudy, rainy area all the time?

The warmth and sunshine of the community can break through even the cloudiest skies.
We learn to appreciate every day of good weather, even an hour of sun.
We understand that just as umbrellas protect us from the rain, so too Hashem protects us from harm.
Only joking, it really isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and most of us are just used to it!

We get days like that in the winter as well. We're known to have all 4 seasons in one day. So brace yourself for anything! It's cold in winter though! Tomorrow is actually not bad at all , highs of 12, lows of 10. Pretty mild for Manchester in February but it comes at a price! When it rains it's usually warmer. Sunny days are often crisp and icy. We get a whole mixture. And from the 20th it's supposed to snow for 8 days 🤣

If you see a toddler in pjs that’s mine too. Told my kids no one knows us anyway.

Hahaha 😅 and no one really cares anyway. I doubt anyone will even notice. Enjoy your vacation from regular life! Shame that you're getting so much rain 😔
