Maybe there could be a specific forum on imamother for tzedukah appeals but these appeals would have to meet Yael's approval. If someone is interested only in the discussion, that could be in the general forum but there would be a specific forum for fundraising. If someone doesn't want to see fundraising posts, they could block the forum.
I am sure that you and most who post are honest and sincere but there could always be someone who isn't and so most of us would rather give if it is checked out first.
