Its been 5 years since DS was at this stage, so I have forgotten.
LO is starting to pull herself onto her ands and knees. How long do I have until all-hell-breaks-loose...err...I mean, until she starts to crawl?

I really don't think anyone could answer you on that since EVERY baby is so different. But I sounds like she'll be scooting across the floor real soon. Babies strengthen their upper body muscles by doing push ups (like you described above)
Dd is 8 months old and isn't crawling or even "swimming" yet
