With leg bending, it's not really bicycling. You don't wiggle his legs in the air. Simply push them in hard enough, maybe several times if once doesn't help. You can do it anywhere, at any time, even in the dark, on your own lap.

peppermint tea works for gas. dont know the amounts your baby would need, maybe ask your pediatrician.

If gripe water doesn't work for you, try exercize. that works wonders for my kids. I lay them on their back and push both legs in to their stomach and hold it there for a few seconds. do this a couple of times, then b4 you bring the legs down, try circular motions on the stomach. I do this for about 10 mins and then you hear the gas come out. it works wonders for me!

My oldest DD had a lot of gas and we switched to the Dr. Browns and they are terrific! For the twins I didnt bother with any other bottles and just started them on Dr. Browns and they had a lot less gas.

Yes, its annoying to wash all the pieces, but those bottles really do work!

My twins were beyond gassy. We ended up using the Dr browns bottles and enfamil gentlease formula. it worked wonders. I figure that the time I spent washing the many pcs to the bottles, I saved it by not having to tend to my kvetchy babies. GO DR BROWNS!!!!

I totally agree!!

Also, PN, just think all of us with twins are washing DOUBLE the amount of bottles and pieces than someone with one baby and yet we still do it!

thank you everyone for your urging to get Dr. Brown's bottles! I see a huge difference in my Yitz. He is sleeping better, not kvetching as much, and definitely not farting as often! thanks!
