one more question for chaylizi:
what did you do with your older child for the first few months when your new baby was using the bassinet?

I was trying to figure it out myself. I didn't have the Vista when ds was an infant. I'm due in the summer & am remaking mine into a triple & I am very against long term use of car seats. The local kiddy storekeeper told me that I am the exact prototype of consumer that they market this product to.

ds was 3.5 when dd #3 was born. He now walks short distances - I have the Phil and Ted and cannot add a buggy board. Sometimes he sits on the footrest but it makes the carriage very hard to push. I had thought it wouldn't work because he was so used to the stroller but he caught on pretty fast.
For long walks he rides his bike, and is faster then I am, so that works out great.
next year he will also be going to playgroup a few blocks away and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work so that I can walk to pick him up.
