The Yontiff is another consonant switch I didn't mention: an M being pronounced as N before a t or a p sound. It's easier to say. Compare the effort required to say yoMTov vs. yoNTev. Which is why hispanics say the glass is half "eNTY" rather than half eMPTy.

I spell my name RIFKY - that is I had 3 rivki's in my class (rivkie, rivki, and rivky) so my name was unique and I loved it- I know of many RIFKY's and after 40+ years I still think it is a great name.
