Anyone else read it? I'm partly through it now.
I read Hosseni's other book, 1000 Splendid Suns... it was much to dark, but so far, this is still intense and a little dark, but not upsetting me like Splendid Suns did.

I can't really say that I liked this book because some parts of it were really disturbing, but it was a really fantastic read. I didn't see the movie. The book was vivid enough.

I read this one first. Beautifully written, and very touching.
Because of that, I read 1000 Splendid Suns -- also beautifully written, but definitely dark.

I read the Kite Runner, not the Suns...I might give it a try...Right now I'm on a Torah/Jewish reading kick. Philosophy, history etc etc.

I red and found the book compelling the movie was a little hard because it was subtitled

I loved the book, but the movie bored me a bit.
