I'm late - the simcha is over - but I still want to give a gift. He used a nice mongram with his name on a Torah. any ideas ?

How about a leather siddur with the monogram on it? there are alot of very nice things from the new leather like bookmarks, key chains.

truthfully I dont recommend monogramming gifts. no matter how well meaning you are with the gift, it still may be something that he doesnt need or want.
When I give gifts I try to give a petek hachlafa with them. as soon as you put a monogram on, they cant exchange it, even if they wanted to.
