does the fact that the seat does not sit straight up bother you? is it worth the extra money to buy the 2010 model that does?

I have the 2010 one and it doesn't sit up straight, its still at a slant. I have a tray and my daughter sits straight up and plays with stuff on the tray, she doesn't lean back
