I just heard on my t.v that a chassidic women
was kidnapped in MAy in Lakewood N>Y
from her Health club.
She was found the next day.
I briefly just heard this on my T.v

That's weird... about the time that those Lakewood & Boro Park incidents happened, there was an email going around with the police sketch and then a photograph of a frum man (showing how it was the same person) and saying that he was the man they were looking for. This is a different person.

willow, read the link. The news story said he was caught trying to rob & other things in a separate attempt. I suppose either they connected it thru dna or he admitted to the crime....

Well there were similarities between this crime and the previous one that made the police in the county call Lakewood police...they even found the duct tape he had was what seems to be the same tape that he bound the girl with. I think DNA testing takes a bit longer to be completed, assuming the crime he was caught for just happened.

If you want to know if anything was done to her... the paper puts it like this...

when the woman was accosted in the parking lot alongside a health club she had just left, located in the ShopRite plaza at Route 9 and Kennedy Boulevard.

According to police, the victim was held overnight and s-xually assaulted before being dropped off at the same shopping plaza the next morning.
