I have 3 girls in a row and their tights got mixed up
(I once read - I think here on imamother) an idea to put dots in the back as to the number of child -- this works but now we have a lot of blue and we can't see it on the blue tights.
any ideas to label blue tights so we can easily separate them.

In the waistband of the tights sew one or two stitches of colored thread. D1 is white, D2 is pink, D3 is yellow...

We buy tights that are color coded by size. There is a stripe of the color sewn into the waist band. The girls each know which color size is theirs.

you don't have to be much of a sewing expert to put a few stitches on each pair. As long as you can thread a needle, knot the thread, stitch 4x and knot the thread- you are good.

You can still label with dots -- just use white or yellow acrylic paint.

This is what we do...each girls' tights go in a mesh zipper bag.
They make them in different colors if you want to be shticky, but I bought white at the dollar store.

I'd recommend sewing a loop of different-colored thread for each child into the waistband. Or color-code them based on size, so that when the next one grows into them, you know that size 8-10 is blue, 12-14 is red, etc.
