love the name on its own although I know some tullys. confusing though with tali, short for talia or Itael.
I guess you could do nati though people would think it is short for natanel.

I know 3 boys who go by nafi. I think its a great nickname! they are all special, charismatic people.

Naftoli is one of the names that sounds better than most of its nicknames, imho.
I'd call him Naftoli, personally, but if you really want a nickname and you don't like Tully (which I agree with you on that) then I'd vote for Nafi.

Nafti sounds like nasty (especially on the phone)...
Naftoli is already short and sweet enough. But if you have to have a nickname, I like Isramom's suggestion of Nat. At least you're down to one syllable, so it might be worth the effort to shorten it.
