My dh and I would like to go away for a night. My teenagers want to stay home and babysit. My youngest child is 8 years old and my parents live a few houses away.

If there's more than one responsible teenager - and there are no really little ones, I would feel comfortable with a 15 y.o. as the oldest... and parents on "standby".
