Has anyone left soup in a crockpot to eat on shabbos lunch? I would set it on low. I am wondering if a) it will taste good by about noon tomorrow and b) will I poison someone? Any help would be much appreciated! Good erev shabbos!

Does the flavor change from cooking so long?

It gets a little stronger & sometimes darker, but this week, no change. It was so nice to enjoy a hot bowl of soup (even though I made cholent in another crockpot.) My guests enjoyed it!

I do it for shabbos sometimes, and during the week, too. it gets darker and the taste-- no matter what kind of soup it is-- is always slightly reminiscent of cholent. but that could just be in my head. it tastes good anyway!
