sometimes I read these really long threads and there are a couple of posters who without fail keep saying the same thing over and over and over. post after post after post. it gets so so frustrating. if you are having a debate so bring up different points to support your argument but to keep saying the same thing over and over gets so annoying and tedious to read. if you cant come up with anything new to add so why post?

thank you for listening to my vent.

Don't you know that if you word your opinion in many different ways, there's a good chance that you'll convince the other person that you're right on the tenth try?

so call them out? ask how post A differs from post B.

also to be dan l'chaf zchus many times new posters join and don't have time to read the previous X number of pages so people are forced to repeat themselves since the new posters never read what they had to say in the first place.

Most of the time I dont even bother arguing with certain posters, because no matter what you say, THEY will always be right quoting either a Rabbi, Rav, Halachic source, Passuk - and most of the time the rav, Passuk, or source has been taken totally out of context to suit their agenda- once they start doing that- it aint worth it anymore!

this is the sort of thing im referring to.

not repeating what you say cause someone missed it the first time around.
