My little cousin is having her bas mitzvah soon. DH & I won't be able to make it in the for the party, but I would like to send her a nice gift, something under $20-$25 or so - we don't have much money right now - but something cool and trendy, something that makes her feel special. She's pretty modern, so no like sefer tehillims or anything.
I have no clue what 12 year old girls like these days. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know how modern she is, but if she's into makeup/nail polish, there are very pretty sets out there in your price range. Good luck!

dd is 13 and she loves anything with a "name" (as she puts it). try a place like century 21 maybe you'll find like a juicy wallet or something like that for a good price.

my sister's bas mitzvah was last week B"H. I got her jewelry. you can find earrings, necklace, or whatever appeals to you in that price range, either silver or costume jewelry. aside from jewelry, anything from the brand Juicy Couture or Kipling, but probably out of your price range.

my sister's bas mitzvah is in 2 weeks and I bought her the kosher by design for teens and twenty-somethings. she's just starting to cook stuff on her own and it's a really cool looking cookbook if your cousin's into that...
