My recipes all contain oil, but they are most definitely flour and sugar based.

I don't think I have ever seen a brownie recipe that called for margarine.

Delicious and soo easy!

1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup flour

-Preheat oven to 350°.
-Mix oil and sugar until well blended.
-Add eggs and vanilla; stir just until blended.
-Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
-Stir dry ingredients into the oil/sugar mixture.
-Pour into greased 9 x 9 square pan.
-Bake for 20 minutes or until sides just start to pull away from the pan.
-Cool completely before cutting.

You can double the recipe and bake in a 9 x 13 pan. If you double the recipe, you will need to cook longer than 20 minutes.

ENJOY! These are gooey and sinful Twisted Evil

We made these yesterday:

Parve Brownies
3/4 cup oil
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup flour
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Mix everything together in one bowl, pour into a greased 9x9 square pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Don't over bake, they will be very chewy and gooey.

So easy my 6 year old did everything but the eggs.... and cleaning the counter. LOL

This is the recipe I use too, but doubled and baked in a 9x13, then cut into bars and sprinkled with confectioner's sugar. Really delicious!

These are yum - I just made them today!

1 2/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
2 Tbsp water
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Mix sugar, eggs and oil. Add water and vanilla. Then add salt, baking powder, cocoa and flour. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350 for 20-40 minutes....I usually do 25 minutes, then I shut the oven and let it sit for 5 min before I take them out.
