It was originally on the homepage where it talks about how amazing he was. I guess the family later decided to omit it. Motek is just saying something that was originally public. I wonder why they decided to omit it.

Whatever the reason if they decided then perhaps we should too  . Though we can't fault anyone for quoting what once was public info

WOW this is so sad to read espcially since my grandfather died the same way. drowning with his friend in a lake. My grandmother became a widow in her mid 30's with a 14 year girl (my mom) and 13 year old boy just bar mitzvahed weeks earlier and a 3 old little girl. My grandfathers body was not found for 6 months. Many people volunteered for the search for my grandfather and his friend. This is so sad to read.
